Call for applications: NOAHE internship & fellowship opportunities

The Network of Alberta Health Economists (NOAHE.ca) in partnership with health economists from IHE, Alberta Health, and the Universities of Alberta and Calgary, is now accepting applications for the 2021 NOAHE Scholarship Awards.

Deadline for application is September 19, 2021 with a start date of October 1, 2021

Qualifications are outlined below.  

(NOAHE) Graduate Award (Internship) is open to applicants with training and/or experience in the areas of health economics theory or practice, applied research, and/or health. Applicants must be current U of A or U of C graduate students in a Master or PhD Degree program focusing on health economics from the Department of Economics, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy, or School of Public Health.  The students’ area of research must address a current policy issue.

NOAHE Scholar Award (Postdoctoral Fellowship) is also open to applicants with training and/or experience in the area of health economics to support the completion of a post doc research project. Applicants must have recently completed or be close to completing a PhD from U of A or U of C focusing on health economics or related field. The students’ area of research must address a current policy issue.
