Doing the Right Thing ... Right: Evidence Informing Clinical Decision-Making Forum
About the Doing the Right Thing ... Right Forum
22 February 2018
On February 22nd, 2018 the Institute Health Economics (IHE), the Canadian Agency for Drugs & Technologies in Health (CADTH), and Alberta Health presented a forum: Doing the Right Thing ... Right: Evidence Informing Clinical Decision-Making.
The purpose of this event was to provide a platform for shared learning and to showcase CADTH and Alberta initiatives on the creation and uptake of evidence-based guidance/direction from HTA and related processes. It provided an opportunity for reflection from clinical leaders/practitioners on where processes are working well and on how they might be adapted to be more meaningful in real-world settings.
The IHE would like to acknowledge the following partner organizations for this event: Alberta Health Services, Alberta Medical Association, Towards Optimized Practice Program, College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta, Alberta Innovates, Health Quality Council of Alberta, Health Technology Assessment International, Alberta College of Family Physicians, Alberta Health Advocates, and the O’Brien Institute for Public Health-University of Calgary.
