Life Sciences SME Commercialization Program

The IHE Life Sciences Commercialization Program supports Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and British Columbia-based life sciences companies with promising, market-ready healthcare technology that are currently seeking procurement in Canadian or international markets.  Support includes the development of an economic model to quantify the technology value proposition, as well as an Evidence Development Plan to inform on-market data collection, which is used to update model assumptions and strengthen the economic evidence to support long term procurement decisions.

With funding support from the Federal Government, the Institute of Health Economics (IHE) is pleased to release a Call for Expressions of Interest (see link below) from organizations that would like to participate in a project intended to strengthen their engagement with health system procurement processes.

Interested organizations are encouraged to download and review the Call for Expressions of Interest and submit a response to [email protected]. The IHE is currently recruiting for the next cohort of companies. A limited number of spaces are available and interested organizations should submit their Expression of Interest by January 15, 2023.

Please note that we will not have capacity for individual company meetings prior to shortlisting following receipt of Expressions of Interest.  Please send any questions that you have to [email protected] and we will do our best to provide a response. These responses will also be posted for other interested companies to review on this webpage.

Please check back regularly for updates.
