Release of Federal Chief Scientific Advisor Post-COVID Report

Canada’s Chief Science Advisor established a multidisciplinary task force in July 2022 to investigate and advise on ways to address post-COVID-19 condition in Canada. Dr. Ellen Rafferty from the Institute of Health Economics was invited to contribute to the report as a subject matter expert.

Today, the taskforce released the product of their deliberations, a report on post-COVID-19 condition that syntheses existing scientific literature, published evidence, experience of service providers and the perspectives of people with lived experience, and provides recommendations for future research and management of post-COVID-19 condition in Canada.
