IHE joins Global Partners in Announcing 2024 UNIVANTS Awards

The IHE is pleased to have collaborated with global health industry leaders in the UNIVANTS of Healthcare Excellence awards in laboratory medicine and to share in announcement of the 2024 award winners.

The UNIVANTS of Healthcare Excellence Award Program announces 12 teams from around the world for achieving measurably better healthcare performance www.UnivantsHCE.com.  This year we are pleased this includes a Canadian team from the BC Centre for Disease Control https://lnkd.in/g-GzhW8Z

Foundational principles across all winning teams include “UNIFYING” across the care continuum for the development and implementation of “AVANT-GARDE” processes to enable measurable differences to clinical care. Applications included best practices across key areas of unmet needs with representation from every region of the world, spanning both emerging and established markets. Every application gets rigorously and anonymously reviewed by judges from across seven leading healthcare organizations that span THE UNIVANTS OF HEALTHCARE EXCELLENCE PROGRAM.

The IHE is pleased to be one of the founding partners for the Univants program and to work with colleagues from: International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC), Association for Diagnostics and Laboratory Medicine (ADLM), European Health Management Association (EHMA), Modern Healthcare, Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), and the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ). This year there were three tiers of awards (global, distinction and achievement) and there was recognition of 12 winning teams across nine countries and five geographic regions. There were six teams with achievement, three teams with distinction, and three teams with top elite honors.  Overview descriptions of all the 2024 Univants of Health Care Excellence winners are available at the following link: https://tinyurl.com/53u9jh9p
