“The IHE is pleased to have been able to work with our international partners in gathering and assessing innovative practice examples from around the world through the UNIVANTS of Health Care Excellence awards”, said Dr. Chris McCabe, CEO of the Institute of Health Economics. “It was very encouraging to be able to see, and learn from, the truly impressive body of work being done by frontline teams to improve patient outcomes and system value.”

The program is made possible through collaboration with seven other leading healthcare organizations: International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC), American Association of Clinical Chemistry (AACC), European Health Management Association (EHMA), Modern Healthcare, Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), National Association of Healthcare Quality (NAHQ), each in partnership with Abbott Laboratories.
