IHE receives Alberta Innovates funding to expand health economics services for Alberta SMEs

Health Economics Support for SMEs Across the Health Innovation Cycle Alberta Innovates is providing $1.95 million over 3 years to the Institute of Health Economics (IHE) through its Health Innovation Platform Partnerships program. This funding is to support health economics service delivery for Alberta’s innovative health companies. This new funding allows IHE to expand the highly successful Life Sciences SME Commercialization Platform, to strengthen and accelerate Alberta’s competitive advantage. IHE CEO appointed to International Summit on Human Genome Editing planning committee

IHE CEO, Dr. Chris McCabe has been appointed to a multidisciplinary committee to plan the Third International Summit on Human Genome Editing, which will take place 7–9 March 2022 in London, UK. The committee, which includes representatives from eleven nations, is being chaired by Professor Robin Lovell-Badge FMedSci FRS. The three-day Summit will be held at The Francis Crick Institute in London, with the option to participate remotely.
