Kyle Riley is a Junior Economic Modeller at the Institute of Health Economics.
Kyle holds a BA in Economics from the University of British Columbia (2009). He worked extensively in the finance and banking industry, including as a licensed stock and option broker, before joining the Consumer’s Coalition of Alberta (CCA) as a Junior Research Analyst. As a member of the CCA, Kyle took part in hearings before the Alberta Utilities Commission, participating in multiple applications for electricity and gas distribution infrastructure in Alberta with a view to minimizing costs while ensuring system reliability. He was also involved in the conception and implementation of the new performance based economic models (PBR1 and PBR2) currently being applied to utilities distribution in Alberta.
