The purpose of this report is to examine the pattern of change that has occurred in motor vehicle accident mortality in British Columbia, and specifically the extent to which demographic change has, or more accurately, as is shown in the following pages, has not, contributed to the steady decline in the number of people killed each year in motor vehicle accidents.
