Healthy British Columbia is B.C.'s second report on nationally comparable health and health system indicators.  The major data sources for this report are the Canadian Institute for Health Information
(CIHI) and Statistics Canada (Stats Can).  Most of the measures in this section of the report have been drawn from two related surveys, the Canadian Community Health Survey (CCHS) and the Health Services Access Survey (HSAS) conducted by Statistics Canada in 2001 and 2003. Both of these surveys
sampled from individuals older than 15 years of age and living in private households.
