Annotation:

This report presents information relating to resident deaths occurring in the province of Newfoundland
and Labrador. The number and rate of deaths by age and gender are presented by Regional Integrated Health Authority for years 2000 to 2004. Statistics for 2000 to 2003 were derived from Statistics Canada's Annual Mortality Files. Statistics for 2004 are preliminary, and were derived from the Centre's Mortality System.
