Annotation:

This report presents hospitalization and length of stay statistics by Regional Health Authority (RHA) of residence for fiscal year 2004/05. Statistics were derived by determining a patient's RHA of residence and then identifying the RHA in which the hospitalization occurred. Data was obtained from the Clinical Database Management System (CDMS), which contains clinical data collected on all acute and surgical day care patients. The CDMS holds data on both residents and non-residents of Newfoundland and Labrador receiving care in the province's health service facilities. For the My People Where series of reports, only Newfoundland and Labrador residents receiving care in the province are profiled.
