A report resulting from a collaboration between the Canadian Brain and Nerve Health Coalition, the Canadian Neurological Sciences Federation, CIHI and the Public Health Agency of Canada provides new information on 11 selected neurological conditions. This report provides estimates of the economic burden, disability-adjusted life years and hospital utilization associated with these conditions and provides a foundation for future research in this area.
